It's these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes, Nothing remains quite the same... With all of our running and all of our cunning, If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane.

Social Life

Chi Phi offers an extensive calendar of social activites throughout the year. From football tailgates to formals; sorority mixers to Hawaiian luaus, our diverse schedule of events provides a social life second to none amongst Auburn organizations.

Our brothers are fanatic about Auburn Football. Gamedays begin early with refreshing beverages and the smell of meat on the grill. Band parties continue into the night, as September Snow covers the branches on Toomers Corner. When we're not cheering on the Tigers, we dress up for themed socials with sororities or hit the road for Fall and Spring formals.

We recognize that the new member initiation process is demanding, as pledges must maintain high academic standing while adjusting to the rigors of collegiate scholastics. We currently have eight sorority pledge swaps scheduled to ease the load.

Year by year, it's the tradition of social events, shared between active and alumni brothers, that forms a bond between generations. Santa always makes an appearance at the Chi Phi Christmas Cocktail. 2009 will re-instate an 80s and 90s tradition, Dames & Demons, a tri-level party where ghouls

and angels haunt the halls of our historic house. Our Spring luau, King Party, is an annual, four-day/four-night Hawaiian feast, chock full of sand and bamboo, where both active and alumni brothers revel with sounds of Buffett on the air and crawfish on the table.

Weekends or evenings at the house may find a game of washers, cornhole, or pool, while NASCAR races on the big screen. Some brothers may be found on a golf course or in a deer stand, while others play soccer or a pickup game of pigskin. Whatever your interest, there's always something to do at Chi Phi.
