Why Chi Phi?

Character

If the Chi Phi brother could be summed up in one word, that word would be “Authentic”. Since 1824, Chi Phi has sought to attract men of principle and character. Carrying on the tradition of our founders, the brothers of Chi Phi seek fraternity with regular guys who work just as hard as they play. We don't care what high school you went to or if your dad is a third generation legacy (we don't even have those). What we do care about is making the most of our time at Auburn, building friendships that will last a lifetime, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Involvement

We believe that our Auburn education is paramount. Yet we also believe that the “college experience” should include a well-rounded education, both inside and outside of the classroom. Chi Phi has consistently maintained one of the

highest cumulative GPAs amongst Auburn fraternities. In addition to academics, all members are encouraged to participate in other campus organizations, honor societies, business and religious organizations, or other extracurricular activities. Our brothers have been actively involved, both on and off Auburn’s campus, for the past 25 years. Chi Phi members have held positions of merit in the Auburn Student Government Association (SGA), Interfraternity Council (IFC), Cheerleading Squad, Camp War Eagle, Aubie Mascot Program, Student Recruiters, ROTC, Spades Honorary Society, and other campus organizations. Off campus, Chi Phi brothers have served as mentors to younger citizens in the Auburn-Opelika area through big brother and other community outreach programs. Whatever your passion, sharing a common thread with one or more Chi Phi members will help you achieve new horizons, while experiencing a more well-rounded education.

Social

If Greek Life has its privileges, a full social calendar tops the list. Chi Phi consistently maintains a diverse lineup of social events and activities, including mixers with other fraternities and sororities, band parties, and formals We also hold annual events and alumni gatherings, such as Homecoming and our Spring luau, King Party. With regard to athletics, our members participate on multiple teams, both in fraternity and independent leagues. Chi Phi athletic teams have made the finals of every fraternity sport, including Football, Soccer, and Softball, for the past decade. Whether you're just laid back or the life of the party, there's assuredly something for everyone at Chi Phi.

We invite you to meet the members of Chi Phi at Auburn University.
