Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and
build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.
-- Abraham Lincoln
If Walls Could Talk
Built in the early 20th Century, the Mu Delta chapter residence, located at 319 N. College St., is one of
the oldest fraternity houses at Auburn. If one’s house is a reflection of character, the Chi Phi house
is a reflection of the authenticity of our fraternity. While not an antebellum mansion, nor a
masterpiece of modern architecture, there’s a charm and beauty of a bygone era baked into the bricks
and hidden in the walls. If those walls could talk; the stories they would tell.
