Why Chi Phi?

The Mu Delta Chapter is a great group of 60 gentlemen from all different parts of the nation. We have active brothers from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Missouri and Louisiana.

Being a midsized fraternity, we happen to have one of the strongest social schedules. For the fall of 2011, we have 12 pledge swaps scheduled with great sororities where the fall pledges will get to socialize at a themed party just for them. We also have many different events throughout the year, of which most can be viewed on the Social page.

The Mu Delta Chapter, one year ago, successfully completed a $500,000 renovation to the Chi Phi House located at 319 North College Street. The Chi Phi House is the oldest standing fraternity house in Auburn, Alabama. We are currently renovating the deck and getting all new furniture for the main rooms, so the house is better than it has ever been.

Nationals ranked the Mu Delta chapter the 8th strongest Chi Phi chapter in the nation regarding recruitment. IFC also awarded the Mu Delta Chapter this past year for Recruitment and Athletic success. Chi Phi has excelled in all athletics for the past 10 years, making it to the championships in flag football, soccer and softball consistently.

Regarding football season and football tailgates, we have one of the best tailgate spots on campus. We are always right behind Parker Hall, which is a very quick walk to the stadium. We placed 7th in Spirit Points this past year, with much help from our blue ribbon homecoming float, allowing us to have some of the best seats in all of Jordan-Hare for the 2011 football season.
